taught by Master Advincula will take place on Sunday, May 4th in White Meadow Lake, NJ. This event will be for those students who are currently on or finished with Sunsu Kata. He will be teaching the kata and all applications / bunkai. In addition, the afternoon session will cover Advincula's Combat Escrima (stick + knife fighting tactics) This will be a great introduction into weapons training for those students who are working on the last couple of empty hand kata. A good group of our Black Belts and one of our Jiu-Jitsu students have been training for an up-coming full contact karate match on May 10th at the Edith Decker School in Mt. Arlington, NJ. The matches start at 2pm and it would be great to see a good handful of our students attend to show support and watch the bouts. If you are interested in going, please see your instructor.

Back in February, Mr. Exaros took a group of students (Mr. Sina, Mr. Patel, Ms. Kilkucki and Mr. Brian Kozera) to Rochester Minnesota for special Winter Training at Dr. Mario Roberto's gym. They trained all weekend in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, and Mixed Martial Arts. They even got to meet Tommy Speer (the finalist in Spike TV's last season's Ultimate Fighter Series). They had a great time and learned a lot.
